Scarse Project: Adjusting Your Monitor: Geometry Adjustment


When the image is output on your monitor, straight lines do not necessary appear straight. Many monitors, besides basic image position controls (horizontal and vertical size and phase), have additional controls (such as pincushion, trapezoid, tilt, rotation) to correct these geometric distortions. Look at the grid pattern below and adjust the controls until you get all the lines straight.
